The boys from around Ortigas
Those whom I love
JUST BECAUSE.

...
...
...
In my efforts to fix the alumni directory of ICTUS
Struggling to add each yg mem to my ym list
[How Mr. YM had an overload of pending invites and wouldn't accept any more for now.]
As I promised to start my job as lia head the earliest possible.
...
...
...
So there
I got to chat w three of 'em:

Dennis (Dennis Cheng)
Working as a Tech Services head in Bayantrade
Graduated from Xavier so YEY :)
[as my conclusion holds true
that i get along pretty easily w those xvians]
But he's living healthy now
Thus no booze for him
[sad but theres still ictus bball anyway].

Berto (Milbert Sosmena)
ICTUS '03
BA CR
Currently working in Dubai
A Samaskom-er like Sir Deo
[but claims he was not brutal even w the apps]

...
and Duane whom I chatted w the longest
[and i apparently beat raf as he is the longest second gen ictusian duane has talked w]

Duane (Duane Luis Magpili)

ICTUS '99
BS CS
[who even proudly gave his student number]
And *GASP* is an LSGH BOY
[AS HE CALLED ME "MORTAL ENEMY"
UPON LEARNING I WAS AN EAGLES LOYALIST]
But we eventually got past that
[Though we both agreed how fun it would've been
if we we're in ICTUS at the same time
with the never-ending hiritans about the games]
BUT I LEARNED QUITE A LOT FROM HIM TONIGHT
As to the ICTUS BACK IN THE OLD DAYS
Which he has YET TO DWELL INTO (W THE DETAILS)

Hopefully in the coming days (before he leaves for Dubai again).

...
BECAUSE I HAVE COME INTO TERMS W MYSELF
TO LET GO
AS IT IS FOR THE BEST
AND I AM SLOWLY FINDING MY HAPPINESS AGAIN. :)

...
Also because I realized that
I HAVE SPOKEN TOO SOON...apparently...TWICE even.
As for my "MEAN" COMMENT ABOUT XVIANS
[the day before our interaction w 'em]
*NOW LOOK WHERE I AM*HARplusBURGISbellatc/oRap*

and that I USED TO HATE those LSGH boys
But now I find their company pretty cool
AS I CONSTANTLY BUMP INTO LA SALLIANS WHO ALTER MY VIEW OF THEM
BREAKING MY PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS OF THE BOYS FROM GH

HAVING ME EAT- MY-WORDS-FOR-THE-NTH-TIME.
...
...
BECAUSE I SPOKE TOO SOON.
...
...
BUT HE WILL ALWAYS BE "NO REGRETS REGRETS"

AS THE "REGRETS" just LURKS IN THE AREA.
Whaddya know?
I might meet him in the months to come.
Ask one of the bullies from my org
He might be friends w him after all. :p
Why?
TIS A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL.
...
...

Because I will listen to my CUTIE KUYA
[as long as he ALLOWS ME TO CALL HIM "KUYA" IN PUBLIC]
As I TERRIBLY MISS having him around
And that...
JUST BECAUSE HE IS MY KD. :)

So, where shall I send my boy to study in the future?
Ateneo, La Salle or Xavier?
...
...
Let me get back to you on that.

For now,
ZHAO AN. :)

Im not a convincing alcoholic Ma'am Malou said.
And no one will believe me when I say I'm no partyholic either. :l
> Prod work? Erm...Not really.

Memcomm people are so competitive.
But okay fine, we're nerds.
[UAAP 08 MVP Rabeh Al-Hussaini. Shiiiiiit! Pressure!]
> I really missed ICTUS. Theyre luffff. :-*

Dinner at TOSH TechnoHub w Korina, Louie, Ana, Ging, Monsee and Venni.
Vodka Cruiser Lychee is yummy.
[Mom didn't get mad that I drank. In any case, tis just one bottle and tis just Cruiser. Thanks, Venni! Next time TR.]
> Miss eating at TOSH and having Vodka Cruiser too.

Eraserheads reunion concert part two set for March 7.
Confirmed by Raimund Marasigan.
> How can you NOT miss the Eraserheads? Heart the CD! :)

Dance like a lunatic.
You can always claim you were sick. ;)
> Miss dancing and those party days.

"Lean Like a Cholo."
That just proved my point earlier.
> Hiphop and old school shit is the best! :D

I'm still recovering from getting dengue.
I need to rest more and I'm haven't been doing this.
> I miss being healthy.

I started itching again.
No, I cannot get sick anymore.
> I miss not being paranoid.

Selwyn! Bball again next Sunday, okay?
Jobert! Summer sexy bod by March, yes?
> Okay. I miss you both too? :p

BUT MOST OF ALL I MISS MY BEST FRIEND.
REALLY SUCKS I HAVEN'T SEEN NIC IN WEEKS. :((
> Halfeeeeee! When will I see you?
[Haha! Your happy crush asked me that last year I think.]

PBK: the eight lufffleeeeeeist girls in the world Ü
Even if the last time we were complete [at least the eight of us---minus Chengy] was back in April, I will always be willing to plan gimiks and vacs just so I can see u ALL [no matter how excrucuating that is]. Until our HK/Thai/US/Bora [I can get discount at Station One during sembreaks] trips...and BAGUIO w Mr. Mogu and "the fag"...and the INFAMOUS MAY4 INUMAN SESH AT 5 IPIL. Always and forever. :)

8eight8
Chengy is baaaack ö
Two weeks of living in Holiday Inn and consuming sisig thrice in a week were painful and tiring but it didnt matter because MY WII PARTNER IS HOME! :D From our first dinner at Sushi-ya and Santa Chengy, sleepovers and heart-to-heart talks w Nana, Coffeebeat and Eggstacy Wii aft w Chrissie, sleepless inuman sleepover [where I only had half an hour sleep before we left for...] at 5 Ipil, Tagaytay/MOA w P and Ins [and the stupid and expensive balloon dogs], despedida at White Plains [welcome to babuyan sesh] and our last night at the hotel. Because the camwhoring wasnt 'nuff to describe how we all felt in your two-week stay and HOW WE ALL PROMISED NOT TO CRY (which we all did separately anyway). :(( UNTIL YOURE BACK FOR GOOD, Chengy. :)

KFC and Friday visits in Ateneo Ü
From Jordy's burdei dinner (and seeing someone at the parking lot---it wasnt Reg's fault!) that turned into a Friday routine for us and thus the KFC is born. W Nic, ReginA, Wenky, Bernice, Jordy and Dana in Katips...From random meet ups to dinner until 10PM in Pancake House [when Martin gave me a free patron ticket for ADMU-FEU the following day]...Tambays at SEC walk waiting to "bump into" a certain someone AGAIN...Taste tests I never showed up for [Sorry, Pare!]...to UAAP games w Reg! Tis been two months since our last...I sure damn miss those crazy nights! :D

6six6
UAAP Season 71 ö ADMU bagging the title this year Ü
From catching the Nike Summer League early June w Nic...Lining up for hours for tix every week [for the love of Chris, right Tim?]...Dragging Nic to every game...Making friends w a number of alumni [Sir Rolly and his friends]...The two former Ateneo high boys I bonded w for game two finals tix and our documentary film scripts for next season...Pic w Chris Tiu and that humiliating Trinoma incident where he remembers me. :l Because my love for bball began w UAAP...Because I watched game one w Pieee who got me into this whole craze...Because I ate in Chinky Chickens before game two [but why did Je get better seats than me---No, u arent La Sallian, u ass!]...Because the bonfire wasnt the best but I did bump into someone that night ;)...BECAUSE ID WALK ON FOOT FROM ATENEO GROUNDS TO KATIPS JUST TO HAVE THAT FEELING AGAIN. :)

Semender w ICTUS ö
As I wanted to back out two days before but A PROMISE IS A PROMISE. For Korina and I being excited and coming on time, bfast in Mcdo and bumping into my Pov gurlies, ride w the gurlies w our 80s music, PALENGKE GROUP w Raf, the ENGLISH CLUB is born, inuman games w the Ateneo drink c/o Jules, beach bonfires and vids, emo talk w Kor [and almost losing my right slipper], boys' poker games, sandcastles, dodgeball w the boys, girl talk and WHAT WE NOTICED [laughtrip still], ghost stories over drinks [w the freaky ipod effin up], last bfast in Quezon w the h2o-making Scruffy Monkeys, ride home, lunch in Chowking Slex then finally HOME SWEET HOME a.k.a. the boys' dota place. :p Though I miss house parties w hs friends, I wouldnt trade that bonfire night w you guys for the world! :)

4four4
Tagaytay w SBK Ü
W barely any rest after Quezon w Ictusians, I left for Tagaytay to spend three days w my Pov gurlies. Sadly, my BFF couldnt come. :( Twas bonding time more than anything else...Chilled at the purrrteeei house of Dana in Canyon Woods...Twas a eat-kwento-magic sing-movie-cards-drink-sleep kinda trip...though I wish I also walked around the village in the rain [Errrr...YEAH.]. Camwhoring and babuyan sesh even if twasnt the BRU kada. Until our next vac w Nic this March/April!

3three3
Back to my old workout routine Ü
Because I was inspired to actually make it a part of my regular routine. and eventually I got hooked. Aerobic Striptease that I do in the privacy of my room. Hiphop being my first lufff but I enjoy the basic striptease as well. For the lap dance I learned late Nov and the advanced striptease which was merely role playing *yawns*. Because I am bored w it now thus I must find a new one. Maybe start by learning the moves in Beyonce's "Single Ladies?" But Britney, JT and Billy C are still my targets. Hiphop and street are luuuuuuuuuuuuf! :D

2two2
Upsilon Car Stuffing Ü UP ICTUS Centennial Run ö
Came rushing back from ABSCBN to get stuffed w my Chictus too...Because I heart being a filler now. Tis one of the things I enjoy smuch that some peeps might be grossed out w. :p Nonetheless, I heart it. For the kids! :)
W barely any sleep since the mems' Cmas party that Friday to CLA/CAT Cmas parties and Homecoming on Saturday...Korina and I were alive and kicking [and kidnapped Gab even] to be singlet gurlies at the Centennial Run. The lack of sleep didnt show...Monsee and I pretended we were partying at some club [Thank you to the luffffffleeeei music they provided]...Singlet gurlies grossed out w the sweat but twas worth it as we have a pic w D3 now...Krispy Kreme for bfast...and some maj camwhoring done too. :) For the walk back to the tambs w Kor, Monsee, Kat, Jako, Gab, back to UP Theatre w Jako and our logbook story, the Fortuner that came to our rescue...Jako, u owe us one! U havta make us libre this Jan! :o

my BFF who keeps me sane every time i lose more than just slippers...because being STUCK has never been this fun and crazy. the ictus boys for answering this question: WHY DO U GUYS ‘HATE’ CHRIS TIU? --- according to the scruffy monkeys who were also intoxicated during our bonfire night by the beach, how can they not ‘hate’ him when hes “smart, gwapo, magaling sa basketball, mayaman...” [okay. u get the gist.] thank youuuuuuuuu guys!!! iheartchuallforansweringthatHONESTLY. obf! :D

i still talk and act like a boy sometimes :D because 1) i still do not get the fuss w make-up, 2) imma always be a jeans and shorts kinda-girl, 3) bball is still the best sport there is! --- obf! 2-peat! go spursssssss!ö until parker and ginobili are back! chris paul is soooooo good! lebron james is a ball hog but hes amazing! :D

because boybands rock, guns-n-roses/nirvana/metallica are still the greatest, nothing beats 90s music; i will learn to do freestyle rapping one day, AM A FRUSTRATED DANCER BUT IMMA GO DANCIN’ W U ANYTIME [to nana, my original partner --- and reg, till the next semender!], BECAUSE PARTY MUSIC GETS ME UP ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. ;)

for 2 and 5 who have that secret power TO MAKE ME SMILE EVERY TIME :D because no one does it better than you two! ;)

for my workout routine that i am VERY MUCH PASSIONATE ABOUT [as i push myself to make it a part of my daily routine except wednesdays]: aerobic striptease, hip hop moves and weight lifting --- no, tis not my pe as ive been doing this since first sem first year. i shall keep my this exercise between me and my room. ;) tis effin fun and imma learn the rest of the routines this dec! :D isolation moves are paiiiiiiinful but hip and body rolls are kewl! AM I DUMBER THAN DUMBELLS? =))

for hearing SELLING THE DRAMA BY LIVE last night in magic --- i do not even understand why i heart the song smuch but I JUST DO. :) ...because 1) to burn a crowd that has a name, 2) i know ive been here before, 3) now we won't be scarred like that and 4) “it's the way we sing that makes 'em dream.” :)

forgiven not forgotten

Fogiven, not forgotten.
Id like to share this commentary I had just read.
Another thread to the never-ending duel between Ateneo and La Salle.
More fuel to fire the pointless banter between the two squads.

Disclaimer:
I am not posting this as a move against La Sallians. I happen to have good friends from DLSU myself. I just think this a very well written commentary (as I sucked at it last sem). This is tasteful journalism.

A Hollow Call
by Ronnie Nathanielsz
October 14, 2008
manilastandardtoday.com

WHEN we saw the front page picture of the Ateneo bonfire celebrating their well-deserved University Athletic Association of the Philippines’ victory over a game La Salle squad, we were frankly appalled.

It seems that the entire Paredes clan, including the alumnus responsible--Jesse Paredes--has, from way back when, embraced Ateneo with unbridled affection, like many of us do with our alma mater, but failed to draw the line between passion and propriety.

The burning of poles with the names of the La Salle players and the coaching staff was, to say the least, a case of extremely poor judgment, which is surprising since students of that great institute of learning--just like La Salle--are taught to exercise sound judgment and to maintain a sense of fairness and sportsmanship, whether it be in the competitive arena of life or in sports, in this case UAAP basketball.

It is difficult to even try to understand the exuberance of Paredes, who was obviously carried away by his emotions and at that time couldn’t distinguish between what was right and proper and what was wrong and terribly misguided.

It is equally difficult and indeed a little more painful to try to even remotely rationalize the remarks of Br. Armin Luistro FSC, president of La Salle who, in his graduation message last October said in part: “The campus can very well be an island in Thailand’s Satun Province, where the only way of surviving is by maximizing your meager resources and beating the other tribe, hopefully without having to resort to bribing the tribal council or cheating your way to victory.”

These were the official remarks he released, but we’ve been told that in an adlib portion, there was a reference to a tribe in “blue.”

Perhaps a video of the remarks may set this particular aspect to rest. Based on the Brother’s own release of his remarks and his claim that people were free to interpret it in their own way and that he had no intention whatsoever to allude to Ateneo, he regrettably insults our collective intelligence.

Why in heaven’s name did he have to mention bribing and cheating your way to victory?

One has to take the remarks in the context of the howl raised over the officiating by coach Franz Pumaren and many others. The insinuation and implication was obvious, even if you didn’t have the benefit of appreciating the nuances of the English language by studying at Ateneo or La Salle.

In what is nothing short of a very poor attempt to deny the malicious implications of his statement, this supposedly learned Brother, who leads a truly fine institute of learning and must bear responsibility for setting the tone of building the character and the appreciation of life’s realities by the young, compounded the felony.

What further aggravated his tasteless reference to the tribes in Satun, especially in these troubled times in Southern Philippines, is the fact that the majority of people who live in what Bro. Luistro characterized as a tribal setting are Muslims. One wonders whether, in the desire to get his message across, he failed to realize the broader implications of what he said.

We are saddened by the fact that a Christian Brother is guilty of an un-Christian condemnation of the people of Satun, which is a small province in Southern Thailand that borders Malaysia.

Bro. Luistro regrettably paid scant respect to the feelings of others just so he could get his warped message across. Talking of cheating has the good Brother so quickly forgotten how La Salle was found guilty by its peers in the UAAP of including two ineligible players in their champion team of the recent past, whose eligibility was manipulated and their documents tampered with? Some of the individuals who engineered the cheating are apparently still very much around. Whatever happened, dear Brother?

His letter to fellow Lasallians asking the Lasallian community “not to fan the fames of animosity between our two institutions” and his appeal to them to "transcend the sports rivalry and focus our attention on ways we can cooperate for the good of the nation” rings hollow, because while Paredes lit the flame of a bonfire, Bro. Luistro fanned the flames like no other.

It was unworthy of a man supposedly steeped in Christian values and virtues and in many respects molder and protector of the character of our youth. Frankly, we are relieved that we sent our children--the eldest son and two older daughters not to La Salle but to UP.

UP may lose one UAAP game after another compared to La Salle, but at least in terms of values, they are winners all the way.

Text lifted from a posted comment on Chris Tiu's blog (http://chris-tiu.blogspot.com).

October 5th, 2008

Ive written so many blog entries about the recently concluded UAAP season...
Im hoping this will be the last discussing the issues...

I have just finished reading Charles’ own entry...About what else but that burning of the Archers’ names written on wood during the Blue Eagle bonfire last Tuesday night. According to him, this was an alumni’s idea and unfortunately for Team Ateneo [I am pertaining to the players, coaching staff, particularly to Chris and Yuri who were given the honor to light the bonfire], NO ONE KNEW ABOUT IT. And just like wildfire, this spread and now a new ish has emerged...ALL BECAUSE OF THE IMMATURE DOING OF ONE PERSON.

I learned about this just yday aft at my org tambs. It ticked me off smuch because I thought everyone was just having fun that night. [I chose not to go into Bell field anymore since I was in flip flops. I do have the autograph of the entire team on my Adidas BE cap and poster anyway.] Apparently, the word “FUN” should have been more particular – CLEAN FUN. But that was not how things went last Tuesday.

I posted a comment on Chris’s blog last night. I was not blaming him or the team for what happened. I was saying that WHOEVER DID THAT MUST BE REPRIMANDED as he or she created another thread for everyone to talk about – and not the good kind. It added another chapter to the Ateneo-La Salle or La Salle-Ateneo rivalry. And I do not think thered be any end to it anytime soon. Sad but true. I also felt bad as it seemed that Chris was already frustrated w the comments of the people about it, evident in how he responded to it. [At least thats how I read his reply on this ish.]

I remember how my dad gave me all these reminders before I saw my first UAAP game back in 2002. He was worried as rumbles were common during their time. Fortunately, I came home in one piece without witnessing any of those fistfights. In junior year, I saw several Blue-Green matches. By senior year hs, I was watching practically all the games live. It was then that I first got scared coming to the games. Alumni seated at my back were shouting at the refs for the bad calls, some trash talking and calling the opposing players rude names. I was terribly disgusted. There really were calls that I myself would contest but I do believe the foul language was unnecessary. Still, I tried to enjoy myself in the games.

I am currently on my junior year in college, taking up Broadcast Communication. I have been watching UAAP srs div bball for seven years now. [I am supposed to be in my senior year already but I shifted.] And this year, I HAVE SEEN 14 OUT OF 17 ATENEO GAMES LIVE. As stated in previous entries, I have befriended a couple of Ateneo alumni as well as you see the same people in every game. One of them is Sir Rolly who introduced me to other Ateneans, including Dr. –something- who is also a prof in ADMU [and she brought papers to check during one of the games]. These alumni, I am proud to say, cheer on the players till the very end without the foul comments, despite debatable calls from refs. On the other hand, you have this other group who cant stop themselves from uttering insulting words directed to both players and refs. [I remember this one game I saw in Ultra alone. This Ateneo alumna mom was making fun of this gay Adamson supporter from the other side of the playing court. Now isnt that pathetic? Shes all grown up but shes being so childlish! So what if this person wants to cheer for this Falcon? EACH IS TO HIS OWN, much like she chose to study and cheer for the Blue Eagles. So whats her problem?] THESE ARE WHAT STOP SUPPORTERS LIKE ME FROM WATCHING THE GAMES LIVE. Tis also frustrating when they ATTACK THE PERSON ALREADY. Charles mentioned some people calling Rabeh “a terrorist.” Ive encountered Ateneans during the semis vs UE calling the Red Warriors “mabaho”, “pangit”, etc. I MEAN CMON! CAN YOU PEOPLE BE MORE CHILDISH THAN THAT? I couldnt help but turn my head and give them a disgusted face. Im not an Atenean but I am ashamed for the Ateneo community. TIS WHAT YOU CALL “PATHETIC”. Ive also seen several games alone [even if Im this tiny girl who seems lost to be amidst these alumni in the games] and I cannot help but shake my head whenever I hear the alumni or an alumna or alumnus cursing, both the refs and opposing players. THEY SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN THAT. DONT THEY REALIZE THAT EVERY TIME THEY DO STUFF LIKE THIS, IT SOMEHOW REFLECTS THE KIND OF UPBRINGING THEY HAD? WORST, THEY DRAG THEIR SCHOOL’S NAME WITH THEM. Tis all about school spirit, but I deem THAT [trash talking and the like] unnecessary, whatever the situation may be. LOOK AT THE PLAYERS [though thered been instances of exchanges of words and fistfights as well between them over the years], theyre calm and collected...at least they try to be. But my love and passion for bball (at least watching) goes beyond my disgust with people like them. I CHEER MY HEART OUT FOR THE TEAM TILL THE VERY LAST SECOND OF THE GAME CLOCK, WIN OR LOSE. [Much like how Larry plays when he was still playing for Ateneo as I have not seen him play in PBA lately...And I SEE THE SAME PASSION IN JAI.Ü]

And mind you, I have the same feeling when it comes to my own college alma mater. UP and UST are like the ADMU and DLSU in cheer dance competitions. And I hate how my own schoolmates say nasty things about the Thomasians as well. I have much respect for the Salinggawi Dance Troupe. So I am disappointed when I hear Iskos and Iskas giving uncalled for remarks against them. During the 2006 UAAP Cheer Dance Competition, I was required to watch it for my PE class. While UST was performing, people from my school were also saying “stuff” to the Thomasians. I think I was the sole person on that side who was watching intently and actually smiling at the great execution of the Gawi dancers. Why? BECAUSE I HAVE MUCH RESPECT FOR THEM TOO. I CAN APPRECIATE EXCELLENCE WHEN I SEE ONE, DESPITE IT BEING A THREAT OR COMPETITION TO MY OWN SCHOOL. Tis healthy competition...until the trash talking and bickering starts.

During game two in the best of three for the finals this season, I think the people around me were wondering why I was cheering my heart out every time Jvee Casio was called for a foul. I was happy because I knew the kind of threat he poses upon Ateneo. I know how good of a player he is, as Ive seen him play for several years now. I WAS HAPPY EVERY TIME HE WAS GIVEN A FOUL BECAUSE I HAVE HIGH RESPECT FOR JVEE CASIO. I ADMIRE HIS SKILLS AND THE HEART HE HAS FOR THE GAME. Although he does fumble during crucial games (well, sometimes), I think he is the biggest contributor for the Archers getting into the finals. Unfortunately, his efforts came up short. But kudos to him for not being bitter about it, at least when his face was shown on-screen when Ateneo had already won.

I have been watching UAAP games for seven years now. I have seen La Salle crush the dreams of potential pro players from other teams aspiring for that championship ring, with their teamwork and incredible skills. But I did not see that special spark that the Taft-based boys always have coming into the games this UAAP season. They lacked that thing. AND ATENEO HAD IT. TEAM WORK COUPLED W DEFENSE AND HEART. :) The 2008 Ateneo Blue Eagles had all the right ingredients to come out victorious. And they did. :D

But tis just sad how issues keep popping out like mushrooms in the field. How from the v beginning of the season, during the ADMU-DLSU first round game when a TF was given against the Archers’ coaching staff for failure to wear their IDs, things like these have already emerged. I just hope they become more consistent in the implementation of rules like this in the seasons to come.

But what I noticed during this season UAAP bball matches is HOW THE MEDIA CREATED THIS FRENZY ON THE BBALL GAMES, PARTICULARLY DURING THE ATENEO-LA SALLE SECOND ROUND GAME. If all the hype in the respective schools werent enough, they had to join in and build up even more tension between the two schools. People have somewhat become slaves to this endless bickering. Quoting Charles, each was “looking for reasons to make fun of the other and stuff like that.” Has collegiate bball gone THIS LOW?

I must admit, I still enjoy myself during the games. I just try to shut off all the comments and remarks you hear from the people around you [both from Ateneo supporters and the fans of the team their playing against]. BECAUSE I CAME TO CHEER FOR “MY TEAM”---as I will never be an Atenean and am helluva proud to be from UPd. But my love and passion for collegiate bball, after all, began with the Blue Eagles...back in 2002. Thus CHEERING FOR THE HAIL MARY SQUAD IS SOMETHING ALMOST INNATE IN ME ALREADY. People can call me die-hard, fanatic or whatever name one can think of...After all, I did line up for six hours in AC and ended up w gen ad tix---BUT I WAS HAPPY. And despite the sucky view I had during game two, I made the most of what I had----I CHEERED MY LUNGS OUT FOR ATENEO, EVEN IF THERE WERE MOMENTS I WAS THE ONLY ONE SCREAMING IN THE CROWD. BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT LOYALTY IS SUPPOSED TO BE [Let me reiterate that I havent completely “abandoned” the Fighting Maroons as I was one those screaming heartily during their match against the Tams last July 30 in Ultra.] And if I was all about winning also, I believe I would also burn all my resources to watch the cheer dance live as the UP Pep Squad is one to be reckoned w here---But no, I dont. Because tis really bball I enjoy watching, not for the players but for the love of the game. :)

...

SO WERE NO BETTER THAN THE OTHER. I believe in that now. Because we all have had our share on spreading nasty things about a player, coach or team we love to hate. Because we all have had our share on laughing at the mistakes of the opposing squad. Because we all have had our share on calling the people rude names and getting too personal. My Atenean “kuya” once told me people think hes “mayabang” when it fact he isnt...NOT ONE BIT! Tis because of the whole generalization. Much like when I entered UPd, people have labeled me coño just because I came from Poveda. TIS UNFAIR AND ALL BUT I HAVE LEARNED TO LIVE W IT. Besides, when these people actually take time to get to know you, they realize that it isnt all true. [Well yeah, maybe Im coño but tis only because of the way I talk. Im no bratty RK. Im not even rich!] I used to say La Sallians [as Ive been told they dont want to be called La Sallites---since this is the one w the bad conotation of being stupid RKs] are aloof but Ive met lotsa Ateneans who make me raise my eyebrow too. AND ONE OF MY REALLY GOOD AND CLOSEST FRIENDS IS FROM DLSU! [Special mention to DINCEEÜ] So tis just a matter of finding people youd click w. I agree w Charles when he said that those generalizations are unfair (as I myself am a constant target of that), but THESE THINGS ARE INEVITABLE. YOU JUST GOTTA LEARN TO DEAL W THEM, PUSH THESE THINGS ASIDE...LIFE WILL GO ON! Because tis all about how a person will deal w things like these. If you let yourself be affected every time, thats your problem.

BUT THERES STILL HOPE. FOR CHANGE. Though the end of the rivalry between the Eagles and the Archers, the UP Pep and the Gawi, et al is nowhere near, I think itll help to be A LITTLE MORE SENSITIVE AND SENSIBLE SUPPORTER. Just like this thing I have when it comes to watching bball games live:
1) YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO TRASH TALK THE OPPOSING TEAM,
2) YOU CAN ONLY REPRIMAND YOUR OWN PLAYERS BECAUSE IT IS THEM YOU CAME ALL THE WAY FOR---but foul language is still unacceptable,
3) KEEP YOUR COMMENTS WITHIN THE GAME PROPER, ANYTHING OUTSIDE THE PLAYING COURT AND THE GAME IS DEEMED FOUL---especially when people ridicule them for physical appearance and such---WHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE GROW UP?

AT THE END OF THE DAY, REMEMBER THAT IT IS JUST A GAME.

And just like one of the lessons I learned in Broadcast Communication, “ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS BUT LEAVE EVERYTHING BEHIND AFTER.” [for prod work]

P.S. I hope that the alumnus/alumna/alumni responsible for that burning incident last Tuesday night come clean about it. Although according to Charles, Fr. Ben will issue a formal letter of apology to DLSU for that, I still think the person/s who did it should be man enough to admit his mistake. He or she tainted a supposed successful celebration of the victory of his or her alma mater.

LETS STOP W THE BICKERING. TIS POINTLESS; A WASTE OF TIME. IT DOES NOT ONLY TAINT THE NAME OF OUR OWN ALMA MATER W THE WAY WE ACT BUT IT DESTROYS US AS A PERSON TOO. IT NEVER ENDS. NO ONE WINS. SO WHATS THE POINT?

AND LETS GIVE IT TO THE EAGLES. THEY DESERVE THE WIN. THEY REALLY WERE THE STRONGEST TEAM THIS SEASON. [Even former Senator and DLSU star player Freddie Webb said so. Thats what I call being “humble in defeat.”] I HOPE THERE WONT BE ANY UNTOWARD INCIDENT REGARDING THE WIN OR ANYTHING RELATED TO IT ANYMORE. TIS TIRING AND GETTING REALLY PATHETIC ALREADY.

OBF! KUDOS TO THE BLUE EAGLES FOR A WONDERFUL SEASON.
TO CHRIS AND YURI, CONGRATULATIONS FOR LEADING THE HAIL MARY SQUAD TO ANOTHER CHAMPIONSHIP. THEY LEAD BY EXAMPLE, FOR BEING SELFLESS SMART PLAYERS IN AND OFF THE COURT.

Heres to a successful UAAP Season 71 as hosted by my college alma mater and to Season 72 to be hosted by Ateneo I believe. [I cannot quote anyone for this Season 72 thing but theres a huge possibility as they also hosted hte year after their win in 2003 and since the Loyala-based school will be celebrating their 150 years in 2009.]

October 4th, 2008

Buhay Iska. Dugong Atenista.

Im helluva PROUD TO BE FROM UPd.
I believe that needs no explanation.
But MY HEART BLEEDS BLUE.
Six years and going stronger.

But do u know I never saw myself going to Ateneo?
Though Pieee and I once wanted to be babbles.
Despite people insisting I can pass for one,
It just is not ME.

Funny how people keep congratulating me
About the Blue Eagle win.
Have I not reiterated I AM NOT ATENEAN?
But well, okay...You want me to send those greetings to Chris?
[Because WE BOTH LOVE YOUR COUSIN, TIM!ö]

Be humble on defeat.
Be glorious in victory.
Was this evident during this year’s UAAP season?
Lets talk a look back...

...

I was v disappointed w how the green side acted during game two.
Though I also believe the second TF on Maierhofer was a bad call.
But whats done is done.
We can just pray for better officiating and discernment next season.

[It was just proper for La Salle to come out and receive their trophy. But why didnt they? I thought they were better than that. But I feel for Jvee. Props to him for an amazing season. He played his heart out all throughout the season, even down the last minutes of his collegiate bball career. But let me reiterate that bball is a team sport, not a one-man game.]

“Win or lose, its the school that we choose.”
The famous ADMU cheer u hear at UAAP games.
But how far has the Atenean lived up to this promise?
Despite the amazing turnout one sees at every Eagles game, I still think they lack the true passion and heart when cheering.

[Remember to stick by ur team, WIN OR LOSE...But that I do not see when the five guys cannot seem to carry out the plays given them by Coach...Because this is what a true and loyal supporter does, much like how (Larry was and) Jai is when playing---“PUSO! PUSO LANG YAN, GUYS!” as taught by the Babbles back in the day.]

Media exposure for the Blue Eagles.
Jokes and stories still being told of game two.
Chris Tiu’s face seen everywhere you look.
[Tis getting a bit annoying already honestly.]
Hate blogs and comments dedicated to the blue side.

IS THIS WHAT COLLEGE BBALL IS ALL ABOUT?

A win is a win.
But is winning everything for some people?

“I WILL MISS WEARING MY BLUE AND WHITE JERSEY THAT SAYS ATENEO IN FRONT.” – Chris Tiu

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
A week and one day since the Eagles won in UAAP as this year’s srs div champs.
Three days since the big Blue Eagle bonfire at Bellarmine field.
More than a week of celebrating,
For a well played season.

Kudos to the Blue Eagles,
To Coach Norman and the rest of the coaching staff
[Coach Jamike, ure still my fave!]
For coming through for the Ateneo community
Because TEAMWORK AND DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Mass at Gesu wouldve been v special to me
[as I still hope to get married there one day, haha!]
Roaring cheers as the players were introduced on stage
[Was half the pop’n last Tuesday night there for Chris?]
Great entertainment w performances from PNE, Spongecola, APO...
[including Kwan, Chicosci, Miguel Escueta...who else were there?]
Though my friends and I opted to just walk around instead.
[I was in flipflops and there is no effin’ way I was to dirty my feet on Bellarmine---once was enough, back in 2002.]

But what is this that I heard
That they burned wood w the Archers’ names on them?
HECKA WHAT IS THAT ABOUT?
Have people gone THIS LOW already for a mere bball game?!?

La Salle acted immaturely during game two.
And now I pity Ateneo for this childish deed.
WHERE HAS THE TRUE SPIRIT OF BBALL GONE TO?
Off someplace where there are people who appreciate games for what they are --- and leave it at that, no hard feelings, no stupid actions.

I enjoyed my time at the bonfire.
As I spent it w friends---Nic, Reg, Jordy, Cybs, Bernice, Aims, Di.
Bumped into Pieee by accident
And to Ev who was teasing me about asking for Chris’ autograph.

For the long walk to Ateneo and Bellarmine field [done twice]
The strolls around the campus
The walk back to Katips in the rain
ID DO IT JUST TO HAVE THAT FEELING AGAIN.Ü

As Chito (Miranda) said, “Guys! Kita-kits ulit next year! Go Ateneo!”
For playing “The Yes Yes Show”
And taking me back to my hs days
Which is a bittersweet feeling until now.

I heart walking around Ateneo especially at night.
Eating on the floor at Bellarmine Hall brought me back to our elem and hs days.
[I miss Pov somehow.]
THAT PICTURE IS OUR DIRTY LITTLE SECRET. *wink*
[But I had fun doing that...and our random pics in the spot area.]
And NO, HE IS NOT MY BOYLET. ;p

Until I confirm the burning thing w Tim.
Or maybe Gio can answer this himself.
As it is hell week already.
And I believe Cantina and Drew’s are both calling me.
[MelufffssshuuubigtimeAIMSö]

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
AM I CRAZY OR FALLING IN LOVE
IS IT REALLY JUST ANOTHER CRUSH
Do you catch a breath
When I look at you
Are you holding back
Like the way I do
Cause Im trying, trying to walk away
BUT I KNOW THIS CRUSH AINT GOING AWAY, going away
CRUSH.DAVIDARCHULETA

YOU TELL ME.
Still j-j-jaded even after five years?
Still stuck.
But I CHOSE TO BE.

September 26th, 2008

It is 12:33 in the morning of September 26, a Friday.
EMOTIONS STILL RUNNING HIGH.
I am not even a freakin’ Atenean!
My entire body tired like after every game...
BUT TODAY WAS NOT AN ORDINARY GAME DAY.

Back track to Monday morning.
6 AM already seated on the floor of the red gate of AC.
Ended up with only gen ad tix by noon.
Did I mention my new two Atenean guy friends? ;p
[Ateneo High boys = one from ADMU, the other from CSB now]

Search for better seats began from that v moment.
Offers here and there but to no avail.
Gen ad = bad seats, bad view.
But itll have to do.
As I am not missing this for the world.
[JP Cabero is also having a diff time getting tix. KD, where is Larry?ö]

Fast forward to GAME TWO day.
September 25. Thursday.

It did not rain on my way to school.
Radio drama prod went pretty well this morning as well.
My feet did not get wet either on my way to ADMU.
First taste of the famous Chinky Chicken at SOM mall w Half.
GOD ANSWERED ALL MY PRAYERS TODAY. :D

Tambs w Aims and her Ateneo blockmates at the parking lot.
You can already feel the tension and energy this early.
Off to AC a little past two.
Crazy crowd when we arrived.
Bonding w Aims’s friend outside Coffee Bean...
[She is really fun to hang out w.Ü]

Barely made my way through to our area alive.
WHAT AM I DOING IN GEN AD?
WHY DID JE GET BETTER SEATS THAN ME?
‘Cause youre an *ss, pare!
But you arent from *coughs* either. ;p
[Ok. Lets keep THIS ONE between us two.
I dont want to get in trouble anymore.]

Awarding ceremonies kicked off game two of the finals.
Ateneo grabbed everything but left three for Jvee, Rico and Jervy in the Mythical Five.
HOT. HOT. HOT.
Just like their “Black 24” shirts.
That one I am interested in buying. ;)

From the presentation of the schools
To the entrance of the players...
The meeting of both squads in the center
Explanation of rules, so and so
To the actual tip-off and start of the game...

The game was A-MA-ZING.
Whoever missed it live MISSED BEING A PART OF HISTO.
Because it was a greAAAT game.
As the Blue Eagles KICKED ASS!
And ended a 6-year drought once again.

Kudos to Coach Norman for teaching the players TEAMWORK.
AS DEFENSE WAS WHAT SEALED THE GAME FOR THE HAIL MARY SQUAD.
Consistent scorers and good assists.
Those extra passes and my fave Chris-Rabeh ‘tag team.’
Because IT WAS UNSELFISH BBALL FOR THE EAGLES that won them the game.

Ive yet to watch my recorded copy of the game.
To see how fair the calls were too.
But cockiness wont get you anywhere
[So whats up w jersey no. 15---(Is this Ferdinand?) after his first two or four points?]
As Ateneo learned that the hard way last season against NU.
[Redeem game as they have fondly called that match.]

* To Half for always coming w me to the games.
[but you missed game one which was effin’ hot as well]
* To Martin for trying to score me tix and THAT FREE PATRON TICKET you gave for Ateneo’s game against FEU last August.
* To Aims and her blockmates for a wonderful XP watching the game together.
* To Pieee for seeing Game One w you last Sunday w our random solo pics in the game. [I super miss our UAAP hs days as we will always blame our being deaf to the Babbles back then.ö]
* To Anne for our constant conversations regarding tix.
* To my two new Atenean guy friends for our little adventure last Monday in AC.
[the crazy stories and scripts conceptualized while waiting in line---to bringing grocery baskets, playing cards and next time---chairs, food, cam to document our diff story ideas]
* To Sir Rolly and the Ateneo alumni I have befriended over the course of three months watching games live.
* To Tim for never disowning me despite my constant hirits about his cousin---and forwarding messages to him. ;)
[One of the four people who continue to remind me that I can still make friends w people from Archerland.]
* To ANYONE AND EVERYONE WHO SHARES THAT SAME PASSION AND LOVE FOR COLLEGE BBALL. :)
* To God for the win. +AMDG+

Because bball is not all about who gets the highest points...
Or who makes steals...
Or who does those fantastic blocks...
Because it is a sport composed of not one, two, five or so players...
It is composed of both players and coaches – whether the player gets a chance to hold the ball and score or the coach who gets his play to be performed on court – also w a little help from the loyal supporters cheering them on...
To the Blue Babble Battalion for their unwavering support for the Blue Eagles. [Ateneo! Ahu-ahu!]

BECAUSE WIN OR LOSE, IT’S THE SCHOOL THAT WE CHOOSE!

ö--Buhay Iskolar. Dugong Atenista.---ö

OBF! SEE YOU ALL AT THE BONFIRE! :D

September 23rd, 2008

Because I havent blogged about UAAP for a while...

Four and a half hours in line for upper b was SO WORTH IT.
Because this was the finals.
Tis ADMU-DLSU.
Hear my blue heart beating?
[Nevermind the shirt. Tis sooo four weeks ago!] ;p

W Pieee in Game One.
I missed watching games w her!
After all, she got me into this whole UAAP hype.
Tan Chi, I might meet him soon!
*Pieee! Thanks for the random pics u took while I was busy cheering my heart out. Too bad wala na un cute babbles like before (though ikaw lang may crush sa kanila---si*coughs*myheart).*
[At least this time Pieee wasnt reprimanding me for my wrong actions for the cheers...as she was trying to both watch the game and read for Philo.]

Rabeh 31pts---MVP! :D
Jai had a hot hand again, kicking it off w his 3pt shots! ;)
Noy's blocks are THE BEST. :D
Ryan for ROOKIE of the YEAR. ;)
Eric and his amazing drives. :)

Chris doesnt need to score smuch w a bench like this. He makes up for not scoring w his assists anyway. And he HAD TO BE BENCHED. You cannot have him playing in the first quarter of the game w two fouls and an eternity of basketball still to go. :)

"To me, teamwork is the beauty of our sport, where you have five acting as one. You become selfless." - Mike Krzyzewski [lifted from "Deliver or die" article from Inquirer Libre September 21 ish]

Me and Pieee's fave banner: BONFIRE NA :D

Final score: 69-61.

And today was a diff story altogether...

In AC 6am with barely any sleep.
Six hours of waiting, was it all worth it?
For gen ad tix?
Oh yeah!

Thanks to my bro who accompanied me
And those two former Ateneo High boys (one currently studying in ADMU, the other in CSB)
Who made six whole hours enjoyable
And a memorable XP indeed.

For my *ss that hurt from sitting on solid cement,
The boys asking if my bro wanted to play pusoy dos w them,
Our breakfast c/o Maccas,
That Coke they spilled on the floor...

For those first few small steps,
The five-meter one,
That last big turn,
And our big smiling and laughing faces...

The Coke they were offering us,
The Mentos I was giving them,
The GROCERY BASKET from which came all our crazy thoughts and ideas,
And our little hirits about anything under the sun...

For being Communication students
But failing to ask each others' names
But a morning well spent (WE BELIEVE)
Because we have tix for game two after all. ;)

For being so chill at 6am,
For the smile on our faces when the line finally moved,
For the laughter throughout our whole stay in AC,
For the heavy hearts after the guard announced there were only gen ad tix left---500 of them and the line was still freakin' long!

AND OUR VICTORIOUS GRINS AS WE PURCHASED OUR TWO GEN AD TIX EACH AND LEFT THE YELLOW GATE OF AC KNOWING THAT---WE WILL SEE U ALL AT THE BIG DOME ON THURSDAY---

For the angry mob outside the yellow gate...
[How it was becoming a bit scary already.]
For the two guys waiting up for me so we can all leave safely together w our HARD-EARNED TIX THAT MUST BE LAMINATED AFTER THURSDAY'S GAME (haha!)...

To bringing cams and yellow pads for scriptwriting purposes so we can be productive while we wait...
To the countless hirits and laughter shared bcos we were all just bored but happy...

As AC became a MINI RECTO this am w the photox of schools ids, report cards and who-knows-what-else just so those freakin' scalpers can score themselves tix!

We shall bring monobloc chairs next time.
We shall have cams too.
We shall have cushions so my *ss wont hurt like it did during UPCAT.
Because PRIORITY MUST BE GIVEN TO STUDENTS.

See you guys on Thursday!
OBF! :D

One last note...
Chris is improving on his delivery and cam cues in Ripley's. His Filipino isnt as bad as when he started but I can still hear his Chi accent on certain words. :)
To people who trash talk him, GET A FREAKIN' LIFE!
To Charles, Im sure Chris has gotten used to it over the years esp since he is a celeb now. Price of fame. But nevermind them. His detractors will always be outnumbered by the growing number of supporters he gains every sec. AMDG. :)

cuteness much?ö

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
Thanks to Martin's extra patron ticket (given just the night before the game---when I had no real plans of catching the game live---but A LOT HAS HAPPENED SINCE THAT DECISION OF NOT WATCHING LIVE THURSDAY NIGHT TO FRIDAY NIGHT DINNER/TAMBS IN KATIPS W KFC), I got to see Ateneo's first game in the second round LIVE. My seventh game LIVE, the best seat so far I BELIEVE.Ü

There were tons of questionable calls during the fourth, especially as the Eagles were leading---but FEU caught up. In the end, Ateneo won although just by 4pts. The players have to work on their inside plays. They do not rebound so much that they lose second chance opportunities. They also have a tendency of making their inside too open---which made it easier for the Tamaraws to score from inside. The Blue Eagles also did qute bad in the free throw shooting at the beginning. They would have had an earlier lead if they got their shots in. They have to work on that as it becomes very crucial and can be the deciding point in the game.

PROPS TO ERIC FOR HIS TIMELY 3POINTERS!ö It get a lot of us off our seats! Salamat has grown so much---the dude has got skillz. ;p Sweetest moment last Saturday was when CHRIS AND ERIC DID THE BODY BUMB/SLAM MID-AIR after Eric's amazing play. :)

MICS' 21ST birthday dinner at Mom and Tina's. Lovely night w my darlins. :) Miss you all tons! Cant wait for sembreak!Ü

OH, NIC AND REG---ME BOYS REALLY ROCK! ;) Neil is my new best friend because of that! Hahaha! He IS CUTE and V CHARMING! ;p I shall visit Ateneo much often now. Thats a THREE now. *wink* [Hi, Wenky!/Hola Dora!]

SPECIAL MENTION TO MY SHOTI, MAX, WHO APPARENTLY READ MY ENTRY ABOUT LAST FRI IN KATIPS---I just saw your brother! BUT TWAS SWEET TO SEE YOU AGAIN, MAX. ACHI MISSES HER SHOTI! :) *kisses*

suspension of uaap refs

Add to Memories Tell a Friend
uaap games has not receieved this much attention since i started watching in season 65. today, it is rare that the league is not part of primetime news. besides the usual hype when there is an ateneo-la salle match [as seen the day after kick-off], it is uaap referees that have been getting much airtime even after the games. though the whole 'wearing of ids' ish has not exactly been completely resolved [at press time---as i have not read any new update on it], now suspensions are being given to refs for controversial calls theyve made at certain games.

first to be suspended was jimenez [according to chris tiu]. this was on the admu-dlsu game last july 6th. today, another ref was suspended for the calls made during last saturday's game between feu and dlsu. i saw the match on telly. it was another exciting one. [i thought the tamaraws will pull through and take that one from the archers!] there were several calls i also did not understand. the tf given for a supposed 'unsportsmanlike' foul given against a morayta player.

it was like deja vu the following day. during the admu-ue game just last sunday, there were also several calls we questioned. i saw the game live so i pretty much had a better view than people who just saw it on telly. there was one point in the game when it seemed like the refs were all siding w the warriors. [i am not saying anything against the recto/sta mesa boys---im talking about calls from the officials] every time the eagles would continuously score, fouls were given to the team. twas like the refs were stopping the katipunan boys to pull ahead from their opponents. [it was my second time to get so angry at the refs, i was screaming so hard it hurt my throat---and my first to want to hit them w my sandals already].

i am not being biased whatsoever. a bad call is a bad call, regardless of who is playing.

as for my opinion on the 'failure to wear ids' ish, i think commissioner narvasa should also give the appropriate penalty to the team of pido jarencio for that. it is also to establish fairness and equality in the league...cos it is sad to see that this early, uaap is already tainted w all these controvesies.

---and maybe the board should also purchase the same pioneer recorder thingy that chris has at home---so they can have a much better analysis of whether certain calls were made fairly or not. haha! ;p

July 10th, 2008

UAAP Season 71 kicked off last Sat.
My school is hosting.
100 years of excellence.
Ang pag-asa ng bayan.

I cant believe I missed the opening.
*shameshame*
But I had to sleep.
Because Ive been lacking this for days.

And Sunday finally came.
ADMU-DLSU game.
I couldnt contain my excitement.
Prepped up by the Eagles' win in the Nike Summer League 08.

Halfy's first UAAP game.
An Ateneo-La Salle match nonetheless.
Why did I line up for hours to get us seats?
*coughs* Oh, thats why. *winkandiBLUSH*

Bball games just give me a diff high.
I cant really explain why.
Sweet feeling...
Brings me back to THOSE DAYS and THAT too. ;p

Felt good to sing UP Aming Mahal...
In our victorious stance.
But theres something about BE cheers
That gets me all hyped up!

Compare me to a bouncing ball,
I look like Im dancing in the game.
Thats how much I love bball,
Thats how much I love the game.Ü

Immediately spotted Chris
Sporting out his 17 jersey.
Made two free throws
Even prior to the tip-off.
[TF given to DLSU for failure to wear ids by the assistant coaches]

But that was even before Pacquiao entered the court
That got everyone on their feet
Although I was the sole person who couldnt care less
Im no fan of boxing, just ball.ö
[Gilbert Arenas of the Washington Wizards came too!]

Chris in the starting five.
Lost my voice at the first quarter.
Remembered about my tv prod for Tues
[and being the first talent nonetheless]
But Chris needed my voice more than anything else. :D

Crazy game, I lost my head.
Esp when Chris fell to the floor.
Was ready to throw my slippers to whoever did that to him
Cause if anything happens to CJT...
[I dont think youd want to know]

Chris Tiu is a whole package, okay.
Were not just talking about good looks
Or the fact hes good a hot hand on the court
He also has brains to go w that.

Look at how much he has grown
Since the first time he stepped into the court
Of a crowd going over the seating capacity of AC
During an Eagles-Archers game.

Hes all buff now,
Though I still prefer soccer bods.
But how can you not melt when you see his face
In all his charm and innocence?ö

26pts and JUST ONE FOUL
I still cannot get over it
So Im stuck in that past,
So, who cares?
[Yeah, thats what he often says.]

Enjoy reading his blog
How he organizes his thoughts
Its funny how with that I realize
How normal this "demi-god" is after all.Ü

And this aft I again saw his gorge face
Sporting their prettified new jerseys
Jai, can I have your jacket?
I promise never to wear green to games again. ;p
[oh-the-memsö]

Chris couldnt get his shots in at first
He was getting disappointed w that
But over the 15ft area
He still gets his shots in at that.

Mom said hes gorge when the cam focused him
OMG HOT.
Something I just REALLY realized last season.
CJT, youre perfect and you still may not know it.Ü

To Jai, youre still my Jainamite!
Moro Lorenzo Awardee---maybe Ato will receive that too in 2010.
Props to rookies Ryan, Justin, Nico, and no.6.
It stretched the lead in the fourth quarter.

Ive been in UPd for over two AYs
Still my loyalty remains w the Eagles.
Sir Jopos predictions did not come true.
Somethings are just not meant to be.
[uhm...like THAT? So sad.]

My undying love for the BEs.
Theres a limit to it too.
Because theres just one ish I have w the AtNEO [har] community.
I cannot stand their alumni.
[Not to generalize smuch, Im pertaining to my 'rents' batchmates who makes unnecessary comments and uses foul language]

Either theyre frustrated bballers or whatnot.
All I know is that theyre sad people.
They may have 'nuff cash to burn on the games
[the simple fact they left work early to watch live is just one aspect]
But they lack manners.

No offense to anyone.
This is simply my opinion.
It just ticks me off smuch.
'Cause I love watching live.
[Except when seated beside them]

So how was ringside seats, you ask?
Pretty good minus that.
Better shot of Chris
[Chris, youre such a MALIKOT NA BATA.ö]
Autograph from my fave slam dunk Baby Rocket
[oh, and LA too!]

I shall put my kids in Xavier too in the future.
Maybe there will be a new CJT by then.
